What this promises.
TrustTraffic reads the visitor counts Vercel holds for projects you connect, writes them down on the hour, and publishes the ones you choose to list. It is free, and it is run by one person.
What we promise
That the number we publish is the number Vercel returned, unaltered. You cannot edit it, and neither can we — every reading is written once with the time and a checksum, and the checksum is published so anyone can check it.
That we read only what you connect, only Web Analytics, and never write to your Vercel account.
What we do not promise
That the underlying figure is correct. We publish what Vercel reports; if Vercel undercounts, blocks a bot, or changes how it measures, our reading changes with it. We are a faithful record of that source, not an independent audit of it.
That readings never stop. The cron can miss an hour and sometimes does. When it does we print the miss on the record rather than quietly filling the gap.
Uptime, backups, or that this service will exist forever. It is free and unfunded. Nothing here is a guarantee of availability.
What we ask
Connect projects you own or have permission to publish. Do not use the API or the badge to hammer the service — it is a small thing, and there is a rate limit for that reason.
Do not present a TrustTraffic figure as measuring something it does not. The window is printed on every number for that reason.
Ending it
Remove a project and its readings go with it. Ask for your account to be deleted and it will be, along with everything attached to it. We can remove a listing that is being used to mislead, and would tell you why.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a published figure, for downtime, or for anything the upstream source gets wrong.
